I too have endured those high temps when wading out on the West Coast, especially at Locks Well, and then a horrendous cliff to climb, carrying up to 40kg of salmon, in the days before the boardwalk! I guess you can endure them when you are having fun. Just like Mitchell Johnson did when knocking those poms over during some very hot days! That was pretty special!
The temps Old Pirate have been horrendous too this month, and no rain!
Pic shows the max temp for the first 9 days of this month, at Rabbit Flat, 87km from Old Pirate, so the temps would be very similar. Ouch that is seriously hot!
Seeing there is a lull in ABU's progress at the moment, maybe there aren't too many workers up there? And no beer either!
Speaking of which, time for my first crownie of the day! And it certainly won't be my last! Happy w/e to you too!
