It's not that difficult to get it right, and therefore you should. There are practical reasons to get money extremely accurate too. Just try getting out of a signed, written contract one day with the excuse that "everyone knew what I meant" instead of what was actually written.
Also, as this is a stock trading forum, you should well know what would happen if you put in the wrong figures when you tell your online broker how many shares to buy or sell at what price. If you are lucky, all that will happen is you get traded at market price. If you are unlucky, and this could happen with thinly traded shares, your order goes on the queue and it could get traded by the next person to your detriment.
