abu - potential not possible?, page-17

I don't mean to be too critical here but we often hear a stock is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
That is obvious enough but to me that sounds like a bit of a lazy attitude (no offence intended). Isn't the whole idea of investing and trading about finding an investment that is currently undervalued (by our own estimates) and trying to determine what the market is likely to value it at, at some time in the future- whether it’s later that day for day traders or in a year or two for long term investors? You can say a stock is only worth what someone is willing to pay at that instant in time but other than that, the value the market places on a stock fluctuates wildly and you need to be able to predict that with some sort of accuracy to be successful.

Also the idea that ABU can't move higher until it gets a ML or begins production. Come on guys; look at the chart over the last 6 years.
Half a cent in early 2009 and then on the acquisition of the assets it gained by a multiple of 14 times before the year was over to a high of 7c. 14 times higher sp and no ML. Since then we have seen many occasions where the stock has dropped and gained by multiples. Even just in the last 7 weeks the stock had moved from 2.1 to 3.2 for a 50% move. No ML granted in that time. Despite all that volatility we keep hearing the this stock can’t go higher without a ML. This stock was 8c a couple of years ago and no ML then either. There is a lot more that affects a sp in a big way than a ML. POG, sentiment, exploration success, etc, etc, etc!!!
