It might be on the cards but I wouldn't base your decision to invest or otherwise purely on that possibility. I don't believe they would move too soon, if they do indeed hope to take over, but rather let locals set it up to a point where systems are established and at least some cash is flowing.

My feeling is that Canopy will dominate through effective partnerships and not by force, at least for another couple of years. Overloading on small companies at this point would be risky in the extreme.
