Although navs has provided no explanation as the validity of the rumor it does make me think that this could have been the trigger for Acadia to exercise the ROW deal rights. You would want that all stitched up to enhance the value proposition for a potential sale.
Going by who owns Acadia I can't see them selling for less than it's worth.
