I am currently a uni student in my final year :) and should have the degree well before my 21st birthday. Yes, you are correct uni degrees are far from the be all end all. However, to get your foot in the door for certain positions a degree can be minimum requirement. To be honest, a degree can mean nothing if the person is unable to apply the knowledge in the industry. This is where experience comes into play.

I feel scanspeak hit the nail on the head, with its about the skills available around you. Looking at the CDU personnel credentials, they seem very well qualified.
