I've been in an email conversation with an assistant professor in the US who's specialisation is neuromorphic chip technology and algorithms. He has generously provided feedback on Peter's paper and the technology.
He said that it's ok to share his opinion, but I have no desire to be flamed and abused for not providing the message that people want to hear so if you'd like to read his response please email me.
Or if people just prefer to have it here that's fine, but keep your blind allegiances to your own psychologies to yourselves thanks. If you want to discuss the technology, then this is the place.
Note: He doesn't invalidate Peter's work, and doesn't say it won't achieve anything, but does provide good food for thought.
