    Above are a couple. The main issue with Li-S is the redox shuttling effect. Li-S batteries has significant energy output however, upon recharging/cyling the lithium anode tends to corrode due to the polysulphide shuttle effect. Meaning the capacity for the battery reduces significantly, even after one charge. Making the battery useless as a rechargeable.

    A few solutions are being tested to reduce this effect. A separator in between the anode and cathode (see here battery tech by Monash) or coating the anode with BNNT or graphene.
