I think people are making ridiculous expectations that Acadia are going to pay anything like $100/$200M up-front for ROW now - it's like those exuberant expectations of what the initial deal would look like in the first place and it didn't come even almost close to those rose coloured glasses. Acadia paid $10M upfront with heavily back ended milestones attached the bulk of which are on meeting predetermined net sales if / when it's approved and on market and in the largest key target market. They still don't know anything more about the drug with Phase III to be initiated in the second half of 2019 - any ROW would be a similar if any upfront now but probably just rests on more back ended milestones and royalty cuts. I suspect largely aside from the CT's through 2019 and fixing up Nuplazid they want to secure bank for market uncertainty and potential tightening of cash availability - there not the only ones doing heading into 2019.
