The issue with TBI is that it is a significantly greater heterogeneous mess of pathologies (haemorrhage, diffuse axonal injury, soup of cytotoxic electrolytes and proteins). Very different from neurodevelopmental. I think they would be nuts to do TBI before other possibilities, eg Autism.
That doesnt mean i dont think it will work (a bit), but it does mean i think its less likely to be a success trial than neurodevelopmental.
