I’m a little confused here. If the patent cliff was/is 2028 it’s my understanding that the options are to apply to the FDA and then if granted then go to the patents office and apply to them for an extension, objections can come in from 3rd parties during such time, this makes sense to me.
Acadia appears to have objected to MSN manufacturing after 2028 which they probably have a right to do at the moment, I think in this case Acadia have made the error so more bad them; please correct me if I’m wrong.
