That would be an absolute, unmitigated disaster if it was not accompanied by a huge cash component as well - minimum $7.2b USD.
If we cannot get at least a Reata level cash component and a scrip for scrip, it would be a disaster in my view.
At current prices it would cost them ~$8.2b USD which still leaves enormous upside on the table for them and us holders with scrip, but gives long standing holders a handsome immediate return now. Win Win.
