I'm taking some heart meds for a rhythm issue I get once every couple of years but the Cardiologist says that 50% of his patients can't tolerate it, for the ones that can it's a very effective drug, been used since the 1970's. So don't focus on just the dropouts as has just been mentioned on this thread the doctors will titrate down the dosage to still get an effective outcome. in my case with heart meds the suggested dose was halved as my heart rate was getting down to low 40's, at the lower dose I'm back to normal and loving life!
