@nashezz Acadia's current MC is $2.5b and with $15/share there are roughly 167 million shares on issue. When new shares are issued, the price will generally be based on the current share price. $15b injection translates to 1b new shares based on the current $15. Post merge the old shareholders together with bakers bro will only own 13% of the company. They essentially lose control to the new holders. Would you agree to this if you are a Acadia holder? I don't think I would. There will be a lot short to medium term pain.
They can inject 15b as debt instead of equity to buyout NEU but then we don't get to rid the NNZ 2591 train to the end.
