Acadia is seeking a Director of Biostatistics- Rare Disease.
They are targeting a Ph.D. with at least 10 years of experience working as lead statistician on clinical trials with significant experience in rare disease drug development.
Primary responsibility of this position will be to lead the design and planning of statistical methodologies for clinical trials including:
It would appear that Acadia has plans to advance further rare disease clinical trials.
- sample size and power calculations
- randomization
- data collection strategies/CRF review
- review and/or development of protocol, statistical analysis plan and other related study documents
- consideration of unique characteristics of rare diseases and specific regulatory requirements
- overseeing implementation of statistical analyses, including data monitoring, programming and complex modelling
- summarizing and interpreting results and providing meaningful insights for decision making, risk assessment and regulatory submissions
