I’d love to know the identity of your source because, imo, this source is either highly ignorant or guilty of fear-mongering.

DayBue isn’t a drug you can just buy with a prescription online or from your local chemist as you might a normal drug.

It's a highly expensive, rare disease drug and prescriptions can only be filled by a specialty pharma.

Acadia has partnered with the specialty pharma AnovoRx to process and fill prescriptions which it then delivers. I think it’s fair to say that Acadia is in control of the process.

The table below outlines the process by which American patients can access DayBue.


The suggestion that Daybue might be “99% cheaper in Canada” (i.e. just US$3,750 p.a.) is just crazy, as is obvious from the following

I’m almost certain that it won’t be possible to buy DayBue cheaply online from Canada and have it shipped to the USA or “just jump across the border, buy and jump back across the border to the USA”.
