Shareholders will need to be patient until ACCC presumably comes to the "rescue"; months or years?
The arithmetic is troubling, with a long list of expenses and creditors before shareholders, and more to come...
For example, the Mereenie reserves report footnotes list drilling, workover, compression and upgrades of facilities; translates to uncertain performance and significant expenditure, a deeper hole for creditors, half the upside free to Santos, shareholders move backwards again.
If if if APA were to rollover, it will still be years before CENTRAL finances move from deep red to any shade of green. Debt-to-equity currently 205% and heading up.
The challenges are merely; knock over APA, await lifting of likely (frack) moratorium, spend up and hope the results are as good as suggested.
