Long story made short, less discounting in the market with 3 strong players, ie; no TPG and Vodafone out discounting each-other to strip market share which reduces everyones margins including TLS.
This is the reason ACCC is stalling, whilst on paper it reduces competition it does not take into account that the merged entity will take on TLS and SGT directly where now they only skim some of the discount market off them via an underwhelming product.
Actually writing it out like that made me just want to sell TLS LOL, will take a while for the merged entity to go into 5G in a big way now anyway so TLS maintain the advantage for a good while yet.
