People who want limits on corporate power are not automatically socialists. People who want consumers to have more power are not automatically socialists.
Simms is just an overly ambitious bureaucrat with a huge ego. He may think he is helping Australian consumers -- but he gets it wrong a lot of the time, as is clear in this case.
