Yes, I confess to being watchful of this myself. The shares peaked at about $5.90 in early April before falling steadily ever since. About 8m shares were sold on 2nd May and again on 3rd May, another 8m sold on 1st August and a further 8m sold on 29th August. There has been no real price recovery after each of these events.
The top 20 shareholders have held 70% of the total shareholding for the past two years so there's no obvious movement there.
I note with some degree of comfort that in 2022 Washington Soul Pattinson, for the first time, are listed as a major shareholder holding 3m shares.
It's possible that the sellers on the occasions mentioned above may have just decided to take profits given the solid movement upwards in the share price for the period prior to that, particularly as growth may slow down a little now that the NBN is pretty much rolled out.
So, I guess we just watch.
