competition isn't just about the number of competitors. The quality of competition has to come into it at some point.
Lets not forget that the ACCC allowed Voda and Hutch to merger when it was 4 mobile carriers then. What was their reasoning then? 4 was more so they allowed 4 to be 3. Hypocritical for the ACCC to now say 4 is the magic number for mobile competitors when they themselves reduced competition allowing Voda and Hutch to merge.
