Site acquired Productivity Partners in July 2014. PP had been approved for the VET FEE-HELP back in 2012. PP was fully owned by SIT for the period these charges relate to. Just because a company closes down a subsidiary doesn’t mean it’s no longer responsible for actions of that subsidiary during the tenure.
Let’s face it, if SIT wasn’t responsible they wouldn’t bother defending it at considerable cost.
