acccumulated short positions this year so far

Hey guys....the data below is from ASIC updated till the 21/02....shows AQG started this year with 367k shares short sold which jumped to 1.39M on the 21st! Now only 100m AQG shares trade on the ASX....ALSO 70% of their shares are owned by institutions.....so only about 30% of those shares are held by us retail investors/part of their free float.....so in short with the volume of shares on offer.....how much will the SP have to appreciate to allow shorters to close their positions?
