If they could handle the rapidity of a climate change event like a massive meteor strike that is assumed to have wiped out the dinosaurs and the vast majority of life forms on the planet, it’s very unlikely that a 1.5 C variation either way over the next century will have much effect.
Perhaps I’m suffering from a climate change shock as I just came back from 2 weeks prospecting in the Pilbara?
