The map indicates that in Australia less than 2,000 excess deaths per annum are due to fossil fuel air pollution.
I believe the latest research suggests figure slightly higher than this - like 5 times higher:

So that is 11,000 deaths just from vehicle emissions.
Add to that the deaths from coal mining and power stations...
