Where in the IPCC's AR6 report, Chapter 11 does it say that walbrook?
I note that in the Executive Summary, paragraph 2, it states the following:
"It is an established fact that human-induced greenhouse gas emissions have led to an increased frequency and/or intensity of some weather and climate extremes since pre-industrial time, in particular for temperature extremes."
On the second page of the Executive Summary, under the heading "Heavy Precipitation and Pluvial Floods", it says:
"The frequency and intensity of heavy precipitation events have likely increased at the global scale over a majority of land regions with good observational coverage. Heavy precipitation has likely increased on the continental scale over three continents: North America, Europe, and Asia."
At the beginning of the second paragraph it goes on to say:
"Human influence, in particular greenhouse gas emissions, is likely the main driver of the observed global-scale intensification of heavy precipitation over land regions."
The terminology used by the IPCC is very clearly defined the following publication: https://www.ipcc.ch/site/assets/uploads/2017/08/AR5_Uncertainty_Guidance_Note.pdf
and the specific term "likely" is defined in the following table on page 5 of this document:
To suggest that a 66% to 100% probability means anything other than - in layman's terms "more likely than not" - is pretty misleading, don't you think?!?
It always pays to actually read the source document before mindlessly cutting and pasting misinformation.
