1. Thats so obviously false 2. That means all major states need to have their own interconnectors with each other.
Regarding that last point, my back of the napkin estimate is you would need to increase the size and complexity (read cost) of the transmission grid 100x. Probably over 10T. Imagine running HVTL from Brisbane to Perth and then a separate one Brisbane to Adelaide.
