The extra demand and mining of EV metals will see all manner of day to day basics cost more. From wiring a house, electric infrastructure, transport costs to food production the list is extensive and the impact enormous.
The puritans will want ICE vehicles and more importantly ICE Mining, Farm and Transport Machinery to be made redundant even though they may have ten, fifteen or twenty or more years of life left in them. The so called Carbon Footprint to replace them will be offensive........ but heck, while Rome burns, who has time for a “Conscience” when it’s so much more fun to be fiddling?
