so I am not imagining it if the media and certain weather forecasters are eating humble pie this morning, or should be!
North Qld largely spared ravages of cyclone, sure some big falls of rain, but wind not too bad, nor storm surge .
The thing is a week ago they were forecasting it likely to cross between Rocky and Mackay ( some media, were even suggesting SE qld was in a possible path) , despite it rarely occurring from one forming where it did ..I have this on good authority from someone with lots grey hair who follows cyclone patterns.
Oh, and much of the media were trying to suggest a December cyclone was rare!!..yeah, right!
