    So it is corruption that is doing it?
    Not utility value? Or speed-to-market? Or reliability? Or affordability?
    None of those factors?

    I'd say that the renewable energy sector has hundredfold greater access to capital than persona non grata coal companies. Why don't the renewable energy folk offer even bigger bribes to politicians and officials?

    Moreover, given global coal demand is at record levels, does that mean anywhere around the world that coal power stations are being built that is an outworking of bribery and corruption?
