    You think the global renewable industry operates on a not-for-profit basis?
    And do you also think that the inputs that go into the manufacture of solar panels and wind turbines is produced sans any thumping of the environment by the green fairies that live in the bottom of the garden?

    More than half of the world's raw polysilicon, and around 80% or polysilicon ingots and wafers, are made in Xinjiang, using none other than coal power:
