I think in the goodness of time (once the world is awash with renewables) you will see the same thing happening as with the fossil fuel price gouging. I think the same type of people will end up controlling or getting the ability to affect the price. Unless of course energy supply by that point is just supplied free. If there is money involved, well, the people who like money are for sure going to be there.

History repeats over and over. Wanting to make as much money as possible, well thats going to keep going no matter what your talking about.

Yes I know the theory about all the supply and having so many suppliers, I also know the money makers, and they will get around anything.
