The reason why the nuclear option has gained traction is because the halfwit’s believe that by reducing the tiny faction Co2 that is generated by humanity on a yearly basis, will impact the natural variability of our global climate.
There’s no denying that humanity’s activities can have a profound impact in regional areas, urban sprawl, monoculture practices, land clearing, inappropriate building practices on floodplains/sensitive coastal erosion areas and the like but mmCo2 emissions are not relevant.
If they were relevant, why have our emissions continued to rise over the last 4 decades, why are the numbers of coal production/oil production going up?
Why are the economies most committed to reducing their emissions, floundering?
PS Your local member isn’t working for you, they’re only working hard to try and keep their job.
