The Labor government announced they will employ the use of gas throughto and beyond 2050.
Mr Kenny said Australia “absolutely must embrace” gas energy.
“You’ve got to have gas generation as your firming to fill in the gapswhen renewables aren’t around.
“It just makes common sense and finally Labor is starting to try andfront up to that common sense.”
