    Now, now muddy, you can only make that statement when you exclude hydro.

    Iceland, Costa Rica, Albania - all 100% renewables when you include hydro.
    Norway was 99.1% in 2021 and getting better.

    I count eight countries at 100% renewables with hydro, another 2 at 99.8%, and a total of 21 countries above 90% renewables using figures from 2021.

    Many of whom have power costs lower than Australia.

    Even New Zealand is over 80%.

    I'll agree Capex for Snowy 2 is higher than it should've been, but I don't know how you blame Labor for that one. The big cost blowouts happened under LNP - most of them caused by Angus Taylor parachuting his useless cronies into executive positions.

    I like nuclear technology, but it is way too expensive for Australia. There's plenty of people who have explained why.

    BTW you seem to have forgotten what rain is.
