First it should be called a 'battery network' not a renewable network.There is nothing renewable about the infrastructure and chemicals required for this battery energy network.
Besides solar panels DH wants to make leading technology batteries in Australia.
We are on the verge of not being competitive to make a brick in Australia last I heard from brickworks and may have to import US bricks.(maybe updated news)
So due to govt policy its not viable to make a clay brick in Australia and DH wants to make solar panels and batteries here and become a battery operated global super power..
ps had a drive thru sth cranbourne a couple of days ago,endless transmission lines and apparently a massive chinese manufactured solar development near by,its not a farm, farms are nice.
