The best news in recent weeks has been Dutton's announcement that he will ignore the Luddites and try to move Australia into the 21st century with the cleanest, most reliable renewable of all.
The second best news were reports that the announcement has "spooked investors". That's a great outcome. Before you can change course 180 degrees, you first need to apply the brakes. The assorted grifters and carpetbaggers feasting off billions in taxpayers subsidies need to be on notice that it is a high risk investment and a future Coalition government will pull the rug on them. Great!
