7 square kilometres of black panels, I wonder if the CSIRO has worked out just how big a “rain shadow” it will produce?
I’m sure there is a known metric for working out a reasonably accurate measurement of the approximate size.
The effects on rainfall distribution on the working farms to the lee of this factory is something that the neighbours should be made aware of and they should be seeking compensation from day one, it’s only fair.
After all, in science it is known that for every action taken there is a known reaction and any agro scientist worth their salt understands that a solar factory of this size will cast a rain shadow.
