Yes I know the principles of pumped hydro but it seems that you are a bit sketchy on it.
The generators used to pump the water up hill require more energy than the water produces as it falls back down.
Therefore overall your pumped hydro produces negative energy (just like a battery), it uses more than it produces.
If there’s a shortfall in available energy at any given time due to a lack of sun or wind this W Elephant will still require backup ff capacity.
But I reckon you’re smart enough to know all this but you’re pig ignorant enough to never acknowledge it.
