You do know there is more than one type of reactor and they all have different startup/shutdown systems, let alone being able to respond to dispatchable.
Dud reckons renewables work with nukes because they can be turned on/off instantly.
So the question is how much more renewables will be needed because Dud hasn't accounted for maintenance periods which could be upto 12 months.
