Besides, there are three important factors to consider, as transportation is electrified:

1.) Many early EV adopters also have PV roof systems or pay for 100% green power and their cars are therefore charged partially or fully from renewable energy

2.) Almost all new generation in Australia is either wind or solar, so any incremental generation required for the transition to sustainable transportation will be powered by new renewable energy.

3.) As the two points above highlight, the more EVs are on the ramrods, the more EV drivers/voters will push for the grid to transition more rapidly towards a grid being powered by 100% renewable energy.

The last point is something that might elude many anti-EV posters here on HotCopper as well as some anti-EV politicians.
