3. What you and your fairy story telling mate conveniently forget to mention is that generators in cfps wear out as well. Before you claim that cfps have a longer life than a windfarm, you might want to consider this.
A cfps is like grandpa's axe. It's had three new handles and four new heads but it is still grandpa's axe.
Cfps have regular long shutdowns where steam turbines are replaced, alternators are replaced, boilers are repaired etc. Funny how you haven't mentioned that.
