Thought experiment -- If you are a greenie & you filled a glass jar with 100% carbon dioxide...how hot would it get just sitting on your desk (as opposed to 400ppm)?

Would it be illegal to have a glass jar of co2 at one ot two atmospheres...because it would 'store heat' & explode??

Why don't we store energy/heat in CO2 & run our power stations with the latent heat engy that can't escape (may need to get the presure up to 100 atmos??

How does the Co2 compare to water vapour??

Well without doubt the science on how CO2 traps heat/ increases average temps at small concentrations is solid.

It's just misapplied/ misinterpreted.
