I'm not into online scrimmage. I prefer discussion with those on your team, rather than your style of scratching and biting. The problem is, discussion of the 'science' behind alarmism is rare. I guess the reason I post from time to time on HC is to find out whether the vitriol from alarmists on HC is ever backed up with knowledge.

Do you really think you can pressure me into posting my qualifications online? Don't you think posting personal information online is slightly dangerous? The combination of qualifications I've earned would make it fairly easy for someone with a lot of time on their hands to determine exactly who I am. From there, you could find my address and hassle me with as much energy as you spend on HC. I will say that my undergrad involved Organic Chemistry, as I've already posted this in a discussion with Jopo.

I've never said I'm an expert on anything; this would be oh so gauche in any setting, let alone on an anonymous forum.

I don't have to have a theory either. One doesn't have to have a theory to critique another's theory. The anthropogenic climate change theory, just as every other scientific theory, should be comfortable under scrutiny. The scientists supporting the theory have displayed that they are uncomfortable with scientific scrutiny. 'The science is settled' mantra is unscientific.

Here's an example of the type of research I'm interested in, along with the abstract from the paper:
