    Show me one Solar array or wind farm that produces at plate capacity for a 24 hour period, 48 hours period or longer??

    What percentage to they 'produce' at??

    Having enough plate capacity in not enough, solar at circa 30%... Industry estimates project an annual output of 30-40%, but real-world experience shows that annual outputs of 15-30% of capacity are more typical for wind farms.

    So you need enough od these to meet demand AND charge the batteries ...not OR charge teh batteries.

    Plus you will need to allow for a much longer down time of 24 hours if you want to call your system reliable.

    What did wind & solar contribute during the last freeze???

    Lithium Ion IS NOT the answer. The world could not dig enough raw materials to do this.
