Brown coal in Vic competes on price with wind gen and its baseload .. but you don't except that.
So why now raise the price of nuclear?
Nuclear is premium being base load and has a lifespan at least twice as long as its wind turbine counterpart.
Also wind gen wont be as cheap by the time you add in batteries and associated infrastructure either. Right now the cost over and above coal which is forked out to cover wind an solars unreliability should also be added to their overall costs.
