I could not agree more with Robbbbb about the importance of support and resistance.
I don't think the perfect indicator exists but if you want the closest thing to a leading indicator then learn to read candle patterns - but always in conjunction with support, resistance and trendlines. I have found candle patterns extremely accurate provided they are put into context. I'll try to posts some examples of what I am talking about later.
