Good thing to see consultation taking place - it has been spoken about on ICG threads many times over the time they came from Dingo to Peru.

I feel very confident relations between the local residents and the Company are on excellent terms, they will know from neighbouring mines that employment brings higher wages and better conditions, but will also want to preserve some areas of special importance to them.

From photos ICG has published in anns etc it seems much of the local work is agrarian in nature, earning a livelihood mainly by hearding, I expect. Recall that in Australia pre-war and in the forties much of the work in country districts was also agrarian, done by manual labour where today it is mechanised. You may be interested to know that Vince Gair, the Qld Labor Premier at the time arranged the electoral boundaries so that all those seats returned a Labor member - Later the Nats found the so called gerrymander, returned Conservative members. Joh, naturally did not rush to change it.

I have sold my oppies, just to give me a bit of brain-space, but still hold my full quota of heads. Cant wait till NT drilling starts. Excited too about Riqueza of course.
