What am I getting at is that DLS shareholders are still exposed to DLS "potential" if they accept BPT's offer through BPT's shareholding in DLS. Additional they have the advantage of being exposed to BPT's potential.
They will not have "missed out" on any perceived DLS potential which they would if they "sold" the shares on market.
