I have been surprised there has not been a surge in acceptances with the dropping of the conditions and the early payment provision on 50.1%. There is likely a lot of fence sitters that will wait till the last days before taking up the offer – I class myself there but currently living in France I have now sent off my acceptance.
I can see + 65% at the end of the offer period with Mac and the Canadians included – I think if this is achieved there is a likelihood of a max of 20% increase in the offer price that will ultimately snare the remainder.
